Plastering training courses are a great way to kick off a new career or boost your current knolwedge within the plastering industry.

There are many training facilities and course providers available, it is up to you to research each provider and see what one suits you best and get the most you can get out of them. Just because they are closer to you doesnt mean it is money well spent.

Plastering is a skilled trade and not everyone picks it up easlly. We would recoment doing at least 6 weeks intense training and you will be hands on thoughout the whole course.

You will hear from some ego driven plasterers saying "I did a 4 year apprentship you can not learn plastering in 6 weeks it takes years".

As for appreniships I personally find them a complete waste of time for the (normally young boy in his teens). He/She will most likley spend 4 years washing out buckets and mixing plaster as the main plasterer doesnt have time or can't afford the student to mess up a wall/ceiling.

While it may takes years to master plastering as there are things in the real world you might not be able to learn on a plastering course.
